WORKOUT EXPLANATIONS

Hockey Drill #1

Toe Touches

Items needed: Stickhandling Ball & an object for your foot to tap. A soccer ball, basketball, or small box all work great for this. 

Drills to do:

5 reps each of 30 seconds work/30 seconds break, 10 sets total

Hockey Drill #2

Skaters will this drill will be doing a simple hand eye coordination drill.

Items Needed: Tennis balls and a wall

*Remember always catch the ball coming overhand. If you are looking to make it harder, get a smaller ball such as a superball or a golf ball. 

Drills To Do:

15 catches switch hands, 3 sets

15 catches left hand only, 3 sets

15 catches right hand only, 3 sets

Hockey Drill #3

Wrist Rolls & Figure 8

Items needed: 2 hockey pucks, and a stick handling ball.

Drills To Do:

- Two handed Figure 8's: 15 reps, 5 sets

- Right handed (only using your right hand) Figure 8's: 15 reps, 5 sets: 

- Left handed (only using your left hand) Figure 8's: 15 reps, 5 sets
