U8 (2016-2017): A & B Team

The Jr. Bears teams are the Hockey Factory secondary teams. The teams are made up of mostly Madison region players. Depending on the age level we will have 1-3 Jr. Bears teams.
Jr. Bears Levels
Our Jr. Bears teams will host teams at the AA and A levels so that skaters can attend proper ability based tournaments.
Team Selection
Players will attend their proper birth year HF tryouts. Teams for the Jr. Bears will be selected based off of tryouts, and then where they previously played.
Practice Model & Locations
Skaters will have two practices a week, and skill sessions are TBD. Practices will be held at a local Madison rink. We mostly operate out of Sun Prairie, Verona, and McFarland.
Average Cost: TBD
Sessions will run twice a week with on ice and weight room sessions. Tournaments for the group will be individual sign up.
The program will include an Intro to weight lifting, agility, speed, and quickness training program that will take place in the McFarland Athletic Performance Center.

The June skill sessions are apart of the spring program, and are not mandatory skates. If your skater has another sport that lands on the your skaters skill session day. We can easily have them attend another skill session. These skates are open to both HF Jr. Bears and HF skaters. Skates will run from June 2nd to June 20th, and will be run by birth year.
